During the 90s "THE BRISTOL SOUND" became a global phenomenon with albums by MASSIVE ATTACK, PORTISHEAD, and TRICKY. Those "in the know" realize the sound was defined at end of the 80s by ROB SMITH/RAY MIGHTY, who personally chose these 17 reggae, hip hop, house, funk/soul nuggets.
