In 2005 Josh Homme, Eleven multi-instrumentalist Alain Johannes and band members Van Leeuwen and Castillo recorded the Queens of the Stone Age's fourth studio album Lullabies to Paralyze. Homme's voice and all the instruments bleed together as one here, creating a hypnotic sound with endless, fascinating variations.

It results in an addictive album of ever-shifting moods and slyly sinister sensuality. Also featuring guests appearances from ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons and Mark Lanegan, the album debuted at #5 on the Billboard Music Charts, the highest initial position of any Queens Of The Stone Age record to date.
