The iconic and thoroughly entertaining soundtrack for Tim Burton's beloved 1985 directing debut, Pee-wee's Big Adventure was composed by now longtime collaborator Danny Elfman, one of the most versatile and accomplished film composers in the industry. "To see what the score did to the movie and how it transformed so many scenes was super exciting and really satisfying," explained star/creator Paul Reubens. "Honestly I can't imagine another score. He changed the whole film. I think when people think of me and think of Pee-wee Herman they think of that music." 30 years after its original vinyl release, Varèse Sarabande reissues their twofer Pee-wee's Big Adventure / Back To School soundtracks back on colored LP.That's my name, don't wear it out!
