Although their debut 1991 album, The Ghosts that Haunt Me made the Crash Test Dummieshuge in their home country of Canada, it was their second album - 1993's God Shuffled His Feet - that served as the band's big break in the US and Europe, thanks to the self-consciously bizarre lyrics and deep baritone voice of singer/songwriter Brad Roberts, demonstrated in their worldwide smash "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm." Other popular singles off the Jerry Harrison-produced effort include "Afternoons & Coffeespoons" and "Swimming In Your Ocean." God Shuffled His Feet is the band's most commercially successful album to date breaking into the Top 10 in both the US (#9) and UK (#2).
